On today’s episode of Fresh Hope for Mental Health Pastor Brad Hoefs talks with Sarah Robinson. Sarah Robinson is an author who writes about the hard stuff so you don’t feel alone. Brad and Sarah talk about how Life can be really hard, messy, and broken, but it can still be beautiful. Although Sarah loved her church there was some toxic aspects of it. She had to hide how she was feeling it was not okay, to be not okay. Even though God loves everyone, she felt like God didn’t really love her. Over the years she was exposed more to the grace of God and the love of God. Finally someone told Sarah she was living under a cloud of depression and that started her on a three year process of slowing dipping her toes into getting help.
